Broken Head for this lovely client has been a yearly holiday destination which has sparked inspiration, rest and respite from a busy year of working as a couple. They wanted a subtle representation of themselves in the scene as they walk gently along the beautifully pristine beaches of Broken Head, forgetting about their worries and completely immersed in the moment. The simplicity of this painting exudes stillness whilst we ironically can almost feel the movement of the waves and the wind in the grass through the textures so sweetly place upon the canvas.

The client provided a reference photo and also found a reference of one of my older paintings as an examples of what they were aiming to achieve.
